It is my pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for Peak 7 on behalf of Chuck Standen. Chuck recently redesigned and remodeled our 25 year old kitchen. The results of the remodel are even more than we expected both visually and from a quality perspective. I do not say this lightly as I am a quality assurance professional and have extremely high expectations. Going into this project my husband and I were nervous as our previous dealings with contractors had resulted in multiple “redos” in order to get the job done correctly. From the design process through the completion of the project Chuck was there to assure the work was done right the first time. Chuck and his crews were professional, courteous, conscientious, and their first thought was always quality and craftsmanship.
Chuck was outstanding and patient from the design process through completion. His additions and ideas during all phases of the project produced results beyond our expectations. Chuck’s assistance and experience assisted us through the design process and Chuck made sure every item or concern we had was addressed to our satisfaction. We made many changes during the design process and Chuck always incorporated our requests. Our 25 year old house presented many challenges of its own due to structural abnormalities and Chuck addressed those issues quickly and cost effectively.
It was a pleasure to work with Chuck and I wouldn’t hesitate to do so again. I highly recommend Peak 7.

Letter of recommendation for Chuck Standen
My husband and I own the Highland Haven Creekside Inn of Evergreen, Co.
As an addition to our existing suites and cottage we long planned to add an 18th
unit, a Tree House. Not a sway-in-the-wind childlike tree house, but a luxury honeymoon
suite.
We hired local architects and selected Chuck for the log construction. It was to be built between two massive trees with a log frame of considerable size.
We wanted to be as “green” as possible, for obvious reasons of sensibility and for marketing purposes.
We were and are impressed with the SIP panel efficiency, as well as with Chuck’s knowledge of the construction of the SIP method. We had used the panels previously at the inn and recognized the high qualities of insulation. The Tree House was to be elevated one floor and it was critical that the floor be warm and efficient. It is a solid and airtight building.
Chuck was pleasant, thorough, knowledgeable and reliable. We would certainly use
his services again.

I’ve had the privilege of knowing Chuck Standen, owner of Peak 7 Inc. & Evergreen Solutions, LLC, for the past 9 years and can confidently say I know Chuck personally very well. In late 2016, we lost our home in Evergreen, CO in a fire. We interviewed several builders including Peak 7. After calling references and examining Chuck’s work, my wife and I decided that Peak 7 was a best fit for us and our new home build.
We hired Chuck and met his team. It was immediately clear that the people who work for him are high quality individuals who have a lot of experience and are true craftsman. Chuck’s relationship with them is very professional with a long tenure.
Through the process we found that Chuck also has very solid and credible relationships with the right people including the building departments and inspectors. He also worked very well and closely with our designer and our architect. We are grateful that Chuck challenged us to keep everyone on budget and on track to ensure we got the home we’d love at a price we could afford. Chuck did this with much grace and always treated our team with great respect and professionalism.
Chuck does exceptional work with stellar craftsmanship and uses high quality building materials. He is a good communicator, a man of integrity and someone we completely trust. Our home was being built while we were living in another state. Chuck kept us completely up-to-date and was so good about sending us photos regularly. When we would come to town, Chuck would make it a priority to meet with us and spend as much time as we needed with him. Chuck had our backs on this project and we slept well each night not worrying about anything. We felt well cared for.
Another reason we are so impressed with Chuck, is that we dealt a lot with insurance matters during the process. Turns out Chuck was for many years an approved contractor with many insurance companies. Good to know! He helped us work through the details to get the most value we were due through our policy. He has amazing experience and deep knowledge of the business and brings with him a great deal of credibility.
Chuck helped us save money on some major purchases by leveraging his relationships with a cabinet company, fireplace and in-floor heating distributors, just to name a few examples. My wife loves the kitchen and bathroom cabinets and that means a lot to us. The products and pricing he has access to was very useful to us in getting the best possible products for our new home.
Chuck has a high level of integrity and expectations of himself and others. He has no problem holding his team and his sub-contractors to a very high level of professionalism. Our home was always cleaned up and tidy after the end of the day. This is especially important because we live in a neighborhood. Chuck and his team were very respectful to the neighborhood and all of our neighbors.

Please accept our strongest-possible recommendation of Peak 7, Inc. for your construction or remodel project.
Prior to working with Peak 7, my wife Julie and I had spent two years and several thousand dollars with designers and engineers trying to come up with a workable design for a complete remodel of the upstairs floor of our home, including 3 bedrooms and one master bath. Our home had some significant space and structural limitations that made it challenging to achieve our goals within our budget. Time and again, this effort ended in frustration as we spent significant money on planning only to determine that the end cost of those plans were totally out of budget. It was beyond frustrating. We were ready to give up, just repaint it, and call it a day.
Then we met with Chuck Standen of Peak 7, Inc. From start to finish, the entire experience was overwhelmingly positive.
They were fantastic LISTENERS. During the concept and planning stages Chuck and Boyd took the time to hear our thoughts, dreams and desires for the project. They spent considerable time studying the possibilities and offered ideas and recommendations on all the innumerable variables and compromises between cost, form, and functionality. They made excellent suggestions and helped us come up with a plan that made the optimum use of the space for the cost, while incorporating all of the desires that we had for the project.
They were DEPENDABLE and REPSONSIVE. One of the most frustrating things about most contractors is getting them to do the absolute basics - just call back and show up. Chuck and Boyd were extremely proactive and excellent communicators. They answered the phone, returned calls, showed up, engaged when changes or decisions needed to be made, and followed up on everything they said they would do. Every member of the crew was pleasant, courteous, considerate, and enjoyable to have around. They were absolutely outstanding.
They provided exceptional CRAFTSMANSHIP and QUALITY. As a commercial airline pilot, I place a high emphasis on precision and attention to detail. The results that Peak 7, Inc. produced exceeded my wildest dreams. Chuck, Boyd, Cody, Joe, and all of the subcontractors they used were master craftsmen. The quality of workmanship, precision, attention to detail, and fit and finish in every aspect of the job just have to be seen to be appreciated. From the tile work, wood trim, alignment and function of doors and windows, the razor-sharp paint lines - the Peak 7 team produced impeccable results in every detail of the project.
They CARED. It was evident that they ALL took tremendous personal pride in doing the job right. They often went above and beyond the initial scope of the plan to deal with the unexpected issues that inevitably come up in any project. And for each such instance that I was aware of, I have no doubt that there were many more that I don’t even know about where they took extra time and effort to make it right. They wanted to know what we wanted and genuinely wanted us to be happy.
And happy we are! We could not have asked for a more positive, professional, pleasant, and successful remodel experience. THREE YEARS AGO WE HAD OUR UPSTAIRS COMPLETELY REMODELED TO ADAPT TO A BED AND BREAKFAST STYLE WITH BATHROOMS IN ALL BEDROOMS. HE ALSO BUILT A TIKI BAR (OUR PERSONAL REQUEST) THAT IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. TWO YEARS AGO, HE COMPLETELY REMODELED OUR ENTIRE KITCHEN WITH GRANITE COUNTERS AND SERVING BARS, NEW FLOORING, CABINETS, AND APPLIANCES. IT IS TRULY PERFECT FOR US.

THIS PAST SUMMER CHUCK ADDED A SUN ROOM FOR OUR NEW SWIM SPA, COMPLETELY REBUILT OVER 750 SQ. FT. OF DECKS WITH ALL NEW RAILINGS AND LED POST LIGHTS. HE REBUILD OUR GAZEBO AND NOW IT’S A BAND STAND. HE ALSO CONTRACTED RESTRAINING AND PAINTING OUR HOME ALONG WITH UPGRADING OUR ELECTRIC.
